Electrum is an instrumental progressive rock trio from New England. Their goal is to create a unique brand of eclectic compositions that stimulate the listener emotionally and challenge the performers technically. Electrum's "sound" is a blend of progressive rock, jazz, and classical music.

Produced and released independently in 1998, their first recording "Frames of Mind" was much more successful than expected and is now out of print. Their second CD, "Standard Deviation", was released in 2002 on the Net Dot Music label and is available through this web site and progressive music distributors world wide.
